Drone field spraying across Mindanao
Cavendish blocks in Davao del Norte, pineapple on the Bukidnon plateau, palay in the Cotabato plains. Mindanao farms are big and varied, and we plan each flight around the crop and the people living next to it.
Provinces we cover
From the Gulf of Davao to the Bukidnon highlands and the Cotabato basin.
Mindanao crops
Four crops, four very different spray plans.
How we work
- Tell us the province, crop and hectares.
- We review maps, airspace, nearby communities and the product label.
- Field visit to mark boundaries and buffer zones.
- Spray day and a written record for your files.
Why drones fit Mindanao farms
Mindanao’s farms range from large export banana plantations to smallholder palay and coconut. What they share is heat, rain and a shortage of people willing to spend the day under a knapsack sprayer.
Research in Malaysian paddies found drone spraying cut total spraying time from about 80 hours to 24 hours and the crew from four to one (Rosedi & Shamsi, 2022). Banana and pineapple are different crops, so we treat that as a direction, not a promise.
Neighbours first
Many farms in Mindanao sit close to homes, schools and water sources. Buffer zones, wind checks and talking to the barangay are part of every job, and local ordinances can add rules of their own.

Get a quoteQuestions
Can drones spray banana plantations?
Yes, in blocks that suit low altitude flight, using FPA registered products according to the label.
Do I need permits to hire a drone sprayer?
The operator needs them, not the farmer. Ask for CAAP registration and the FPA drone spray operator licence.
How much does it cost per hectare?
It depends on crop, area and travel. We give a written quote.
Do you work near homes?
Only with buffer zones, low wind and coordination with the barangay.
